First Friday with Free Friday Fitness launched in Windsor for 2022 on Jan. 7, at the Windsor Community Recreation Center, 250 11th St. On the first Friday of every month, the Community Recreation Center opens its doors for non-members to join a fitness class, enjoy the pools, hot tub, basketball court, weight room and or any fitness activity offered with a regular membership.

Join Town of Windsor staff and other community members at Eastman Park for a family-friendly volunteer event! Help is needed with gardening, mulching, river cleanup, and more. Enjoy refreshments and meet new people as you help to improve our public spaces. Volunteers can sign up for one or more 2-hour shifts: 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm. **New volunteers can sign up at bit.ly/WindsorVolunteerDays. Bring your lawn chair and lounge out at our Windsor Parks while enjoying a movie with family and friends. Please note movie ratings. Movies are free, locations are listed below. All movies start at 8:30 p.m. except for the September 4 movie which starts at 8 p.m. Locations and movie showings vary each week.
