  5. Windsor Harvest Festival: Classic Vintage Baseball Game

    September 5, 2021, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Eastman Park

It’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out, at the old ballgame! Join players from the Colorado Vintage Base Ball association (CVBBA) when they return to Windsor to face off in an 1800s-style match. The CVBBA is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 and dedicated to the preservation of the history of 19th-century baseball in Colorado. Fans will learn about the many differences in rules, what it means to “get an ace,” and how it looks to see everyone play in bare feet. If you are interested in playing in the game, please call 970-674-3521 for more information. You must be 16 or older to participate; players will be accepted on a first-come basis. The game is free to the public, and more spectators make it more fun. Batter up!
