The Windsor Downtown Development Authority seeks a qualified consultant to assist in public engagement via social media channel facilitation for the year of 2023. The goal of this partnership is to increase social media presence in both quantity and quality by delivering timely information regarding projects and engaging with residents consistently. In addition, the DDA would like to expand its current social media audience and better inform readers on the actions of the Board and staff.
The DDA is looking for a consultant who can work closely with DDA Board and staff on posts relevant to current promotions, projects, or activities. The consultant would be responsible for management of the organization’s Facebook and Instagram platforms, as well as weekly engagement with a minimum number of hours allocated for engaging with followers, relevant hashtags, and potential clients. The consultant would be expected to develop original content by compiling photos, videos, or other media into informative posts. Due to the governmental status of the DDA, the consultant must be able to navigate sensitive topics and coordinate responses to such topics with DDA Board and staff.
