The Windsor Police Department, with the assistance of the Johnstown Police Department and Colorado State Patrol, disrupted a construction site burglary in progress, resulting in two arrests.

At approximately 2:10 a.m., Windsor Police Officers were conducting routine patrols when they located a suspicious, unoccupied vehicle. Further investigation led officers to a home under construction at 2059 Picture Point Drive that was determined to have been forcibly entered.

Officers requested the assistance of the Johnstown Police Department and Colorado State Patrol. Together officers located and arrested two suspects in relation to the burglary, Greeley resident Andrew Wisniewski, 35 years old, and Fort Collins resident Blake Eihausen, 30 years old.

A search of the area later led to the recovery of numerous tools and equipment taken from the home.

Eihausen and Wisniewski are being held at the Weld County Detention Center on burglary charges. No additional information is being released due to the ongoing nature of this investigation.

Anyone with information on this or any construction site thefts and/or burglaries occurring in the Town of Windsor is encouraged to contact the Windsor Police Department at 970-674-6400.
