Windsor Summer Concert Series Kicks Off June 8

The Town of Windsor — in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, Bank of Colorado and Poudre Valley REA — will begin its Summer Concert Series at Boardwalk Park Thursday, June 8, and will continue through Thursday, Aug. 10.

Concerts will take place at the band shell in Boardwalk Park, located at 100 N. 5th Street, Windsor, Colo. All concerts will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of music bands and local food vendors.

The Summer Concert Series includes:

  • June 8: Stolen Winnebagos (Classic Rock Covers), following the All Town BBQ at 5 p.m.
  • June 15: Colorado Swing (Big Band Swing)
  • June 22: Sean Curtis (Country)
  • June 29: Steve Manshel Band (Variety Dance)
  • July 6: Town Mountain (Carolina String)
  • July 13: Pandas and People (Alternative Rock/Folk)
  • July 20: Quemondo (Latin/Salsa)
  • July 27: Kasey Tyndall (Country)
  • August 3: The Nadas (Rock)
  • August 10: Cowboy Dave Band (Honkytonk Country)

New this year — the town will also host a Crafty Corner and Cornhole League. At each concert, staff will have a free, fun activity for kids age 3+ at the Parks, Recreation & Culture tent. Teams of two are invited to sign up for the June or July Cornhole League, $20 per team for ages 21+. Teams will compete in a fun, weekly bean-bag toss tournament.

Also new this year, the Clearview Library Foundation will host the Summer Concert Series Beer Garden, serving up High Hops beer at every concert.

The Summer Concert Series is made possible by sponsors Aims Community College, Digipix, Clearview Library Foundation and High Hops.

For more information or to become a sponsor, contact Recreation Supervisor Luke Bolinger at 970-674-3525, or visit the Concert Series page.
