On Monday Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Windsor Optimist Club and the Town of Windsor Police Department host their annual Safe Halloween event in the Community Recreation Center gym, 250 N. 11th Street.
The event is indoors and family-friendly. The evening will include treats and games geared toward children ages 12 and under. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Admission is free.
