Windsor, CO – The Town of Windsor Arts Commission is kicking off its new event series ART LIVE! that allows residents to watch professional artists create artwork live and engage with artists and the Windsor Arts Commission.
Windsor residents are invited to attend and meet local professional artists, watch their creative process live, and learn more about community art plans in Windsor. These events will vary in location and time each month. Attendees will have the chance to receive exclusive ART LIVE! swag such as water bottles and sunglasses, while supplies last.

On Saturday, Sept. 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Boardwalk Park, 100 N 5th St., Chalk Artist Amanda Gress will be creating a chalk mural as part of the awards ceremony for the Windsor Chamber of Commerce's Chalk on the Walk competition during the Harvest Festival. She has participated in many chalk art events over the years. Gress is the founder of Gress Art Studio in Loveland where she teaches oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, chalk pastel, pen and ink, charcoal and graphite pencil. She has been teaching art for 16 years and creating a variety of artwork pieces for even longer.
On Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Windsor History Museum, 100 N 5th St., Chainsaw Sculptor Matt Ounsworth will be creating a sculpture using a chainsaw during the Halloween Carnival. Matt Ounsworth is an award-winning chainsaw artist based in Fort Collins. He began sculpting in 2013 and has been continuously evolving and improving his craft ever since.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Windsor History Museum, an ice sculptor will transform a block of ice into a work of art during Windsor Wonderland. Details are to be determined. Stay up to date for details by following us on social media @windsorprc on Facebook and Instagram.

In June 2021, Windsor’s Town Board adopted a public arts ordinance, paving the way for the creation of a new community Arts Commission. The Windsor Arts Commission consists of seven members who oversee Windsor’s Community Art Program including the selection of artists, artwork and art installation and placement in Windsor.
