Windsor, CO – The Town of Windsor Public Works Street Division will begin asphalt patching and street striping operations in late July and August. The Division wants to remind drivers to slow down in work zones.
Asphalt patching will take place at pre-evaluated areas needing corrective or emergency maintenance to repair moderate to severe potholing, rutting, settling, cracking, and to address additional pavement concerns.
Like the asphalt patching, street striping operations will take place throughout town and address specific areas of need. Pavement marking is an important safety feature of local transportation and helps guide both motorists and pedestrians.
Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution in road work zones and when workers are present. Watch for flaggers, detours, cone zones, and wet paint. Road maintenance is expected to continue into the fall. Expect delays.
