On Thursday, July 14, the Town of Windsor is launching a survey to assess public sentiment regarding a potential sales tax ballot measure to create a dedicated funding source for the acquisition, stewardship, and maintenance of open space.
The online survey will be open for two weeks, from Thursday, July 14 through Thursday, July 28 and there are several ways for Windsor voters to participate.
A random sample of voters may receive:
- a text message on their cell phones or electronic devices on the afternoon of Thursday, July 14, inviting them to participate in the survey. The text message will have the Windsor town logo at the top of the message and participants will access the survey by clicking on the link.
- an email from the Town of Windsor with the survey link prominently displayed.
- a phone call asking them to participate and complete the survey over the phone.
Residents can also visit the Town of Windsor website at windsorgov.com to access the survey.
The Town of Windsor will use public input gathered during the survey process to determine next steps. Answers are anonymous and confidential, and the survey will take 10 minutes to complete.
