Windsor Police Respond to Incident at Windsor Charter Academy, Threat Deemed Not Credible

On March 18, 2022 at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Windsor Police Department responded to the Windsor Charter Academy in response to a report of a bomb threat.

School staff evacuated the building as a precaution and reported the incident to law enforcement, who arrived on-scene within moments. It was quickly determined that the incident was a hoax and that there was never any real threat to public safety. There is no safety risk to the public in relation to this event, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
