The Town of Windsor’s Forestry team and Tree Board Members will host its annual “Sick Tree Day” on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This one-day, free event gives residents access to expert advice on treating and nurse their trees back to health or keeping them green and vibrant.
“This is a once-a-year event where we get to go out into the neighborhoods, talk to residents, and offer advice about how to keep their lawns green, their trees healthy, and what soils and products are best for their flower beds,” said Kawamura. “Our residents love this. This is an opportunity for us to get to know our residents and use our horticulture expertise to benefit them.”
This year, Windsor received a high volume of interest, and spots filled quickly. Registration is now closed.
"This program is quickly growing in popularity and we are grateful and overwhelmed with the response," said Kawamura.
