Garden pathway with colorful flowers

Learn how to care for your Colorado landscape in this free online series from Colorado State University Extension. Sponsored by the Town of Windsor Water and Sewer Board, the Colorado Landscape Basics includes three pre-recorded online classes each covering a different lawn and gardening topic to help educate participants and prepare them to get out in their own garden.

A live, virtual Q&A with the experts will be held March 27 at 9 a.m. to answer questions and troubleshoot garden challenges in real time. The Colorado Landscape Basics series is completely free. The pre-recorded classes are available to view online at windsorprojectconnect.com/colorado-landscape-basics.

The classes include:

  • Lawn Care: This class will cover the basics of Colorado lawn care including watering, aeration and fertilization.
  • Trees and Shrubs: Learn about selecting the right trees and shrubs for your Colorado lawn, planting tips and basic care.
  • Waterwise Landscaping: Learn how to more efficiently use water in your landscape with xeriscaping techniques and waterwise plant selection.

The live Q&A is free to attend, but participants are asked to register online at bit.ly/registercoloradogardening.
