State Announces Level Orange Framework, Loosens Capacity Restrictions Effective Monday

The Town of Windsor is complying with guidelines issued by the state and yesterday they announced a loosening of restrictions on Red Level counties. The loosening of restrictions moves the Town of Windsor from the Level Red: Severe Risk category to the Level Orange: High Risk category effective Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. At Level Orange, gatherings up to 10 people from no more than 2 households are permitted; Restaurants reopen to in-person dining at 25% capacity or up to 50 people; Gyms/fitness centers open capacity to 25% or 25 people.

This also means we can increase the capacity of the Community Recreation Center to 25 people or 25%. 

Here is what you can expect at the recreation center: 

  • Select Fitness Classes will allow up to 25 in-person participants. To help keep you healthy and moving, we will continue to provide a Zoom link for members to participate virtually. To view the Fitness Class schedule, visit https://bit.ly/3rQqczt 
  • To allow for proper distancing, fitness equipment will stay placed throughout the facility. 
  • Please continue to sign up to reserve your spot in order to visit the Fitness Center, Indoor Pool or Fitness Classes. Reservations can be made at http://bit.ly/2NYlj7v

To help keep yourself and other safe, staff ask that you keep a safe distance from others, sanitize equipment after you use it and wear a mask while entering, exiting and moving about the building. Recreation center staff are committed to taking all preventative measures to keep the center clean and safe for you and your family. Staff are working hard to spot clean in between each session and deep clean the facility several times throughout the day.
