Windsor Shooting Suspect Turns Himself Into Authorities, Police Need Assistance Locating Vehicle

On Monday, February 24, at 8:11 p.m., the Windsor Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Sundance Drive. One victim was found on scene. The person of interest in the case, 35 year-old Kaman Morgan of Windsor, fled the scene. Windsor Police were notified that the suspect turned himself into Weld County authorities early this morning.

While the suspect is in custody, the investigation continues and Windsor Police are asking the public for assistance in locating the dark-colored Nissan Maxima driven by Morgan. The sedan may include Colorado license plate CAK-150.

The Weld County Coroner’s Office will release further information about the victim.
