Staff from the Town of Windsor Public Works Department are set to begin the town’s annual street striping efforts Tuesday, August 27. The pavement striping program is important to the town’s transportation system because it maintains traffic markings and ensures that motorists and pedestrians can travel safely throughout Windsor.
While numerous streets will be impacted over the course of the project, roads are expected to remain open, resulting in minor traffic impacts. Motorists are encouraged to watch for signage and to heed warnings, drive slowly through work zones, and avoid areas of wet paint where marked.
Residents are encouraged to sign up for email or text message alerts to stay up to date on where striping is occurring. To sign up for alerts, visit windsorgov.com/NotifyMe.
