Roundabout at 7th St. & New Liberty Rd. to Open Friday Afternoon

Thumbnail

There’s one more item that needs to be taken care of before a new roundabout at the intersection of 7th St. and New Liberty Rd. can open in the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 9. Xcel and Poudre Valley REA have to install light poles and connect electricity as the final feature of the new roundabout. Construction of the roundabout, which wraps up ahead of schedule, began mid-June.

Weather permitting, another roundabout project begins Monday at the intersection of Cty. Rd. 13 and New Liberty Rd. Work on this project is expected to take 8 to 10 weeks.

The public is asked to please plan accordingly, use alternate routes, and watch for signs, flaggers and cones marking the work zone. Commuters traveling east and west on New Liberty Rd. should be advised that that New Liberty Rd. will be closed between Covered Bridge Prkwy. and Longs Peak Circle.

Crow Creek Construction, LLC is the contractor working with the Town of Windsor for both projects.
