Fall Clean Up

Windsor Utility customers are invited to participate in the 2021 Fall Clean-Up event Oct. 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Public Services facility, 922 N. 15th St, and is at no additional cost for utility customers to attend. An original voucher is required to participate and can be found on the back page of the September Windsor Matters print magazine mailed to all Windsor Utility Customers. If the voucher is misplaced, residents can bring valid identification such as a driver’s license and a copy of their utility bill to Windsor Town Hall, 301 Walnut St., during regular business hours for a replacement. At the event, residents will be able to drive up and drop-off their materials at corresponding stations. Residents will be responsible for unloading their own items. New this fall, the Town of Windsor will be partnering with Owens-Illinois (OI) to offer glass recycling at the event. Please make sure glass items are clean, empty and recyclable. 

The following items can be brought to the event for disposal: • General household trash • Organic materials such as yard and garden waste• Scrap metal • Small furniture (no mattresses or large couches) • Indoor appliances such as ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers & microwaves • Bicycles • Vehicle tires without rims • Glass (bottles, jars and jugs)
