Windsor Community Development combines the town’s Planning and Engineering Divisions to provide exceptional service to internal and external clients. The group is responsible for administration and coordination of the majority of capital improvement and long-range planning efforts. This group oversees all aspects of design, construction and review of zoning, permitting, construction and inspection services.
Responsibilities
Represents the Town of Windsor at various governmental and professional meetings with State Water Resource personnel
Assists in the oversight of town water resources
Manages and administers town planning functions including development, interpretation, and enforcement of zoning regulations
Manages and administers town engineering functions including the construction and review of various project including but not limited to street paving and improvement
Oversees various capital improvement projects from planning to completion
Coordinates federal and state agencies in the realm of environmental permitting.
