Situated between the state capitals of Denver, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Town of Windsor is located along the northern Colorado front range. Windsor’s city limits extend west to Interstate 25, a major north-south regional highway corridor, with Highways 392 and 257 crossing through the center of town. Windsor is centrally located within the regional triangle formed by Fort Collins to the northwest, Loveland to the southwest and Greeley to the southeast.

Windsor Enterprise Zone
Colorado’s Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program has partnered with Weld County and the Town of Windsor to offer income tax credits to businesses locating or expanding within designated areas (PDF) with low economic activity. The program, known as Weld County EZ Program (PDF), is administered by Upstate Colorado Economic Development.
Foreign Trade Zone
Great Western Industrial Park is home to one of the state’s only foreign trade zones. Over 766 acres have already been approved for general purpose within U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone #123. The benefits of a Foreign–Trade Zone program may be the competitive advantage that companies may need to keep manufacturing or distribution operations in the United States.
