Windsor's Strategic Plan
2014-2016 Update
The Strategic Plan was first adopted by the Town Board in 2008. Since then it has been updated in 2010, 2012, and now again in 2014. The Board began working on the update in May 2014 and met several times with staff to develop draft goals and priorities that would benefit the community.

The Town is in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan to help establish a shared vision for the Town of Windsor's future. So far, we've heard from many people about what is important to them and ideas about how to make the Town of Windsor and even better place. To help us better understand the community's top priorities for the Town to focus on over the next two-year period, please use this Community Voice page to elaborate on your ideas. With this new online tool, you can submit ideas categorized under broad topic areas and in turn other residents can comment on your idea and vote them up or down.

Your participation will help the Town Board to develop meaningful goals and strategies for our community.

Vision         

    1. Windsor’s hometown feel fosters an energetic community spirit and pride that makes our town a special place in Northern Colorado.
    2. Windsor has a strong local economy with diverse business sectors that provide jobs and services for residents.
    3. Windsor promotes quality development.
    4. Windsor enjoys a friendly community with a vibrant downtown, housing opportunities, choices for leisure, cultural activities, recreation and mobility for all.
    5. Windsor is a good environmental steward.

Mission Statement
The Town of Windsor strengthens community through the fiscally responsible and equitable delivery of services, support of hometown pride, and encourages resident involvement.

A. Promote safety and security

B. Provide opportunities for residents to be involved and informed in Town governance and in community service

C. Encourage healthy, family-friendly neighborhoods for all ages
