The Town Board has determined the question of whether to ban further medical marijuana dispensaries from the Town should be referred to the registered voters. To that end, the following question has been presented to the registered electors by the Windsor Town Board, pursuant to Section 7.4 of the Windsor Home Rule Charter:
"UNLESS AND UNTIL THERE IS A FINAL JUDICIAL DETERMINATION THAT SUCH A PROHIBITION WOULD VIOLATE THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION, SHOULD THE TOWN BOARD FOR THE TOWN OF WINDSOR PASS AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPENING OF ANY MORE MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES WITH IN THE TOWN'S CORPORATE LIMITS?"
