With “Fire and Crime,” patrons will scour a crime scene and use forensic methods and powers of deduction to solve a crime in this exciting and sinister exhibit.
“The crime is set in the 1920s. Visitors gather clues, and complete fingerprint, footprint, and hair analysis to identify the murderer,” said Museum Curator Caitlin Heusser. “It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about forensic methods.”
After the crime is solved, patrons have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Windsor's Police Department and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue.
This opening reception will pay special recognition to Windsor Police officers and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue staff. Light refreshments and beverages will be served, sponsored by High Hops Brewery. The reception is free and open to the public.
