The Town of Windsor and the City of Greeley finalized an agreement to conduct a joint Broadband Feasibility Study to determine the need, feasibility, and recommendations regarding broadband Internet services for Greeley and Windsor residents.
“It is important that in this technological age we understand what our broadband options are,” said Town Manager Kelly Arnold. “The exploration of broadband is one our initiatives in the 2016-18 Strategic Plan.”
The study, conducted by NEO Connect, will identify several recommendations for improving broadband availability and speeds — identifying potential levels of investment for consideration and options available for increased levels of service.
NEO Connect will gather the community’s feedback on existing Internet services available to homes and businesses in Greeley and Windsor via online surveys:
Outreach meetings with local stakeholders, the public, key anchor institutions and businesses, and current providers will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Community Recreation Center.
