Windsor to Honor Local Veterans with Mini Exhibit November 4

CRCWebpage_1

The Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Department will honor local veterans with a mini exhibit in the Community Recreation Center’s display cases November 4 through January 4.

The exhibit will share local veterans’ stories, mementoes, and photographs from service in the Korean and Vietnam wars, as well as the Iraqi Freedom / Enduring Freedom operations. In addition, veterans from WWI and WWII will be highlighted alongside artifacts from the Town of Windsor Museum’s permanent collection and local collectors.

The display can be visited for free during the Community Recreation Center’s normal business hours — Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.

The Community Recreation Center is located at 250 N. 11th St.
