The Windsor Farmers Market — brought to the community by Chimney Park Restaurant and Bar and Hearth Restaurant and Pub — will debut at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Boardwalk Park, coinciding with the Summer Concert Series.
The market will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. every Thursday from June 29 through September 28.
“Town Board committed to establishing a farmers market in Windsor in the 2016-18 Strategic Plan,” said Kelsey Moore, farmers market manager. “We’re pleased to have fulfilled their vision so quickly, bringing homegrown produce and goods directly to our community members.”
The market will feature more than 25 vendors that will sell:
The market will proudly accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds. See the Market Manager booth for details.
Kaiser Permanente has generously donated reusable cloth bags to be used at the market.
Non-service animals will not be allowed in the market area, but are welcome in Boardwalk Park.
The Windsor Farmers Market is also sponsored by Elm Haven Fellowship, Solar City, the Windsor Downtown Development Authority, and Kaiser Permanente.
