New Traveling Rec Mobile Rolls into Windsor

RecMobile_WEB

Driving its way into Windsor for the first time, the Windsor Rec Mobile is a new town vehicle that aims to bring all the fun of the Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture department directly into your neighborhood! The primary goal of the Windsor Rec Mobile is to introduce youth to recreational activities that challenge, entertain, and most importantly, get kids outside and playing! Intended for all ages, the Rec Mobile will give youth and their families a comfortable location for physical, mental, and social stimulation. As Britt Zimdahl, Recreation Coordinator, explains, “The Rec Mobile can travel to virtually any location within Windsor town limits, and will offer yard games, arts & crafts, building activities, sports, guided field games and much more!”

The Rec Mobile is available from Tuesday through Saturday starting in June and continues year-round. Time periods include either 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at varying parks and Windsor locations including Aberdour Park, Bison Ridge Park, Boardwalk Park, Brunner Farm, Chimney Park, Covenant Park, Coyote Gulch Park, Diamond Valley Park, Eastman Park, Founders Green Park, Main Park, Poudre Heights and Windsor Village Park.

Rec Mobile services can also be rented year-round for company picnics, block parties, birthdays, and other special occasions. To learn more or reserve the Rec Mobile for your event, contact the Windsor Recreation Center at 970-674-3518.  Specific times and locations can be found at windsorgov.com/recmobile.
