Please click on on the following link to take a very brief survey regarding Public Art in the Town of Windsor. Your opinions matter to us, and we want to know how we can make your town more beautiful, exciting, and engaging!
The Town of Windsor's Culture Division has partnered with students and staff from CU Denver's Colorado Center for Community Development and the Department of Local Affairs to create a final Public Art Master Plan in order to determine what types of art and what locations are most desired by our community. Using extensive community input, the Culture Division hopes to create a plan that will lay the groundwork for selecting future public artworks and for creating a commission to oversee the selection and implementation of these works.
Boardwalk Park features one of our newest works of public art, larger-than-life bronze statues of an immigrant family of sugar beet farmers. The statue group, created by local artist Austin Weishel, currently features a father, son, and daughter. We are proud to announce that we will be unveiling the final addition to the group, the mother, on June 27.
Join us for an unveiling ceremony on Thursday, June 27 prior to the Summer Concert at Boardwalk Park!
