Budgeting & Financial Reporting

Annual Budget

– preparation begins in May with the preparation of the Capital Budget and revenue estimates for the next fiscal year.  Meetings follow with Department Heads, Town Manager, Town Board, and Advisory Boards. The 2018 Town Board budget work session was October 7, 2017. Then there was a public hearing  prior to final adoption of the 2018 Town of Windsor Budget on November 27, 2017. 

The 2019 Proposed budget will be presented during all Town Board work sessions through the month of October. Public Hearing and adoption of the 2019 Budget will take place November 26, 2019.  A copy of the proposed budget can be found in the Town Board packet for October 1, 2019.

Financial Reporting –

Finance Director is responsible for timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with federal, state and Town Board requirements. The Budget Analyst assists in producing report for GFOA award submission.
